STEP 1

THE IDEA OWNER INSERTS THE IDEA WITH NO COSTS ASSOCIATED

You are able to explain (100 characters maximum) your product/service idea, or another business model, and choose if you are willing to sell it matching with the investor/s. It is highly recommended the use of hashtags linked to your idea, since it is through them that the investors will carry out their research and, therefore, get to you. It is important to use them with a general – to – specific approach (i.e.: #medicalscience #3Dprint #stomatology #dentalprostheses # 3Ddentalprostheses) as well as much as possible, to better typify your idea. Even though, at this point, being solely to exhibit the idea, it is mandatory that you know how to materialize it. In STEP3 this will be relevant, since an investor will not approve an idea that lacks in performance.

STEP 2

THE INVESTOR LIKES AND THERE IS A MATCH

A shared interest is the main goal for both parties. Each match will result in a notification. If the user wishes to see which investor is matched to that notification, it will cost 1 credit. Each notification unlocked , also 1 credit. There will be costs associated only when there is a show of interest. Until then, the user will be free of charge.

STEP 3

CONVERSATION BEGINNING

This step is where you have already met the investor – or several investors - behind the notification. Now, as above mentioned in STEP 1, is the moment to explain the investors your idea, as well as answer their questions, in order to help them better decide, totally aware of all facts. A notification unlocked it is not necessarily a beginning of a conversation. You unlock and start a conversation with who you wish (one investor or several). This is possible with all the investors, or just one. For all parties safety, it is very important that all negotiations/discussions are restricted to Egg chat, where everything will be recorded.

STEP 4

YES OR NO

This is the final step, since it is here were the user/investor, decide whether they close or not the deal, and this will only be concluded when both parts select the option “closed deal”. By doing so, the remaining interested investors will be warned that the deal was made (besides this notification, the user name will also turn red, showing inactivity) and will no longer be able to chat. Both parts are allowed to exchange their contacts only after the deal is closed and the process being concluded.

THE INVESTOR HAS ACCESS TO BUSINESS IDEAS

In this stage you will be able to look for all the existing ideas. For that, it´s only necessary to use hashtags of your field of interest, and add other criteria for your research. Then you just need to swipe right (match) or swipe left (no (match). The matching cases will be saved in “shortlist” and the investor will confirm them after being reviwed and deeply analyzed. The idea owner will receive the notification of actual interest after the confirmation.

STEP 2

THE INVESTOR LIKES AND THERE IS A MATCH

A shared interest is the main goal for both parties. Each match will result in a notification, and each notification will create conversation. The investor will be able to send just one initial message to each match, in order to show his interest, (what he has to offer, how interested he is in the idea, an enlightenment request, etc) in order to better help the idea owner on choosing, among the interested investors, with whom he wishes to start a conversation. This first message is important because, to unblock each conversation, the idea owner will have to spend 1 credit and, therefore, will need to manage his spendings. In case of an idea having several interested investors, this first message may have a persuasion effect, allowing him to be in advantage.

STEP 3

CONVERSATION BEGINNING

This is the stage where we get to know the person behind the idea. Now is the time for him to explain to the investor how to materialize the idea, as well as, to answer all the questions that need to be enlightened, in order to help on deciding if their interest carries out, or not. None of the ideas shall be displayed without it´s owner being fully aware of what is necessary to perform it. The idea owners must be aware of this fact, to avoid loosing both parties time/money. Finally, for all parties safety, it is very important to restrict all negotiations/conversations to the Egg chat, where all be recorded.

STEP 4

YES OR NO

This is the final step, where the idea owner and the investor, decide whether they accept on closing a deal or not. The deal is considered accomplished when both parts select the option “closed deal”. By doing so, the remaining interested investors will be notified of that decision (besides the notification, the user nome will turn red, showing inactivity) and no longer be able to take part in a conversation. Both parts will be able to exchange contact information only by the time the deal is closed, and the process being fully concluded.
